Methow Valley Riding Unlimited delivers horsemanship programs that empower people and enrich lives.
We make the best of horsemanship instruction, care and training accessible to a diverse community of horse lovers in the Methow Valley and beyond. By building connections between horses and people, we make good things happen.
Begun as a 4H pilot project for challenged children in the summer of 1993, MVRU programs are focused on therapeutic horsemanship riding for kids and adults. 
MVRU is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt, not-for-profit corporation guided by a Board of Directors. Our staff includes high quality, certified instructors and horse trainers, and many well trained horses of exceptional heart and ability. MVRU currently owns four horses, who are the stars of our program. Additionally, we occasionally use privately-owned horses, with permission from the owners. MVRU operates on the beautiful grounds of Crown S Ranch, and leases its facilities through a special agreement.
Our Board of Directors is made up of passionate, skilled individuals who support and guide the vision and philosophy. Our Advisory Board is made up of teachers, mental health professionals fundraisers, public relations experts, and community leaders. We work in partnership with individual families and the public schools.
